Outside of LBK Designs, Lauren's most recent experience includes managing several large-scale consumer websites for MedStar Health, a regional healthcare organization. During her three-plus years at the company, she led new website design initiatives from start to finish, including Photoshop original composition, connection with development team for technical build-out, and quality assurance and testing of template application.
Before joining MedStar, Lauren came from the print design world, where she was a graphic designer/writer at a boutique ad agency. There, she designed and wrote advertisements, brochures, newsletters and various other marketing collateral for her clients, whose industries ranged from retail to religious. Prior to her work at the agency, Lauren spent two years at T. Rowe Price in a fast-paced production environment, doing design and quality control of 75+-page marketing kits used to communicate with multi-million dollar customers.
Lauren began teaching continuing education classes in web design and development at The Community College of Baltimore County in 2010.
Lauren earned her master's degree in Publication Design from the University of Baltimore, and her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a certificate in Marketing from Towson University.
